Susan Avery, Office Manager
My lifelong love for helping people led me to earn a degree in Psychology from Grove City College expecting that I’d one day return to graduate school to become a counselor. But I needed a job and knew how to type, so I started doing clerical work: secretarial (college & church), NCSA librarian, human resource receptionist, and scheduler for an international law firm. 30 years later, I was very lucky enough to mesh my two careers (one hoped-for and one actual) into working here at Full Life Counseling. Now I get to help people in my own way.
Outside of Full Life, I have served on my church worship committee for 30 years. My passions include singing, (W-S Symphony Chorale, Piedmont Chamber Singers & PUCC church choir), music (piano), oil painting, and furniture repurposing. I am an avid genealogist, a member of many county and family associations, author of several articles in the Yadkin County Heritage book and other genealogical newsletter articles. I even won a genealogy award! I have two talented grown daughters and an adorable grandson that I love very much. Family, music and my job provide me a very full life!!
