I view counseling as a laboratory in the form of a relationship. We typically enter into this relational lab when we desire growth and change, and it gives us a place to experiment and practice. To help you in this lab, I will operate as a curious companion and a compassionate accountability partner. I believe it is through connection to self, others, and the world that growth, change, and conditions for thriving occur; I’m happy to be just one such connection.

My goal is to foster a space where you can bring all of you, knowing that your whole self is welcome, relevant, and important to the process. I bring my varied experience with minoritized/oppressed groups; pastoral care and spirituality; sports; career counseling; grief; college counseling; STEM subjects; substance use/addiction counseling; counseling men; and Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) for anxiety and OCD. My therapeutic approach is humanistic and grounded in Gestalt Therapy. As such, I actively and experientially encourage authentic living through integrating experiences and fostering insight and awareness, and I believe that being more of who you truly are is key to change, as paradoxical as it may sound.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor, I work in a holistic and culturally responsive way with adults, couples, and families of diverse identities. I have particular interest in working with people of color and men.

Whether you are new to counseling, a counseling veteran, or something in between, I welcome the opportunity to connect with you; your intersectional identities; and even your doubts, questions, and/or skepticism about the process. We will show up and work together towards creating conditions conducive to a thriving life for you.

I am licensed in NC and GA.
