May, 2022 Updates

INCREASED AVAILABILITY OF LOW-COST SESSIONS: Full Life is pleased to be able to offer sessions for $10-60, based on the client’s ability to pay, with our graduate student counselors. These counselors both have meaningful experience in their specialty areas long before returning to graduate school. Lauren Byrd holds her Certified Peer Support Specialist credential and has several years of experiene working in residential care. Rebecca Rankin has many years of experience in healthcare settings that have informed her appreciation of caregiver stress, grief, and healthcare worker burnout. Both have in-person and virtual availability. Call Charlie for details. 336-923-7426, ext 0.

IN-PERSON SESSION UPDATE :  Angel Joel, Lauren Byrd, Ann Dixon Coppage, Britta Starke, Cathey Floyd, Rebecca Rankin, and Ginny Mills are all seeing clients in-person at our office. Zoom sessions are still an option. Amanda Beck, Anna Fleig, Brittany Corcoran, Cristina Mounts, David Spillman, Jimmy Tunstall, Leigh Zick Dongre, Marlena Del Hierro and Sara Bailey will continue to operate 100% virtually and do not intend to resume in-person sessions.

SHORT-SESSION FEES:  Our clinicians reserve a full 55 minutes for your time together, so if you start late or leave early by more than 7 minutes, short session fees apply. That doesn’t mean that we don’t want you to come to the session if you are running behind or need to leave early though! It just means that there will be second charge for the difference between the corrected session rate and the original session rate. That’s still MUCH better than paying a late cancellation or no show fee! This fee can be completely avoided by participating in the full 53-58 minute session.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE NOTICE TO CLIENTS AND PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS:  If you do not have health insurance or will not be using your health insurance, you are legally entitled to an estimate for the total expected cost of services you will receive at Full Life. The No Surprises Act gives you the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” before you schedule any new or recurring services. Since a diagnosis is required for the Good Faith Estimate, regardless of whether you intend to submit your superbills for insurance, you may elect to “opt out” of Good Faith Estimate requirements if diagnostic privacy is a high priority for you. Your counselor will discuss this with you in your sessions, so please feel free to ask questions. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions, more information about your rights, or instructions for disputing a bill, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
