Chandler Picot, CADC, CPSS
I work with individuals from all walks of life, meeting them where they are with understanding, respect, and genuine compassion. My approach is client-centered and rooted in connection. I believe that healing begins when people feel truly seen and heard. I specialize in addiction recovery, trauma, anxiety, depression, and the everyday struggles that can make life feel overwhelming.
My goal is to help each person recognize their own strength and wisdom. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all path to recovery. I believe in walking alongside you as you discover the tools, insights, and direction that fit your life best.
As both a Certified Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counselor (CDAC) and a Certified Peer Support Specialist, I bring professional training and lived experience to my work. I’ve seen firsthand that recovery is possible and that it can lead to a life of purpose, stability, and hope. My approach integrates client-centered addiction counseling, mindfulness, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care.
In sessions and groups, I often draw from evidence-based practices like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness techniques to help clients manage emotions, strengthen communication, and build resilience. These tools empower individuals to take back control of their thoughts, behaviors, and relationships while learning how to stay grounded in the present moment.
I believe that even when things feel dark, there’s always a way forward. Recovery isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress, self-discovery, and learning to honor your own journey. My role is to provide a safe, judgment-free space where hope can grow, and transformation can begin.”
