Becky Harman, MS, LCMHC-A, LCAS-A

Hi, I’m Becky (she/her). I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A) who works with adults seeking support for a range of mental health concerns, including trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, adjustment challenges, and life transitions. I also support individuals navigating substance use disorders and recovery, particularly when substance use is connected to trauma, stress, or emotional overwhelm.

My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, meaning I meet you where you are with warmth, curiosity, and respect. I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and safe, and I strive to create a space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. Together, we work toward building insight, emotional regulation, and coping skills that support healing and meaningful change.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, IFS-informed techniques, and EMDR-informed care, tailoring therapy to your unique needs, strengths, and goals. Many of the clients I work with are navigating the effects of trauma, ongoing stress, identity exploration, relationship concerns, or co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.

I am a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and work affirmingly with LGBTQIA+ individuals, people in non-traditional or polyamorous relationships, and those connected to alternative spiritual paths. My work is grounded in feminist and multicultural perspectives, with attention to how identity, culture, and systemic factors influence mental health and well-being.

In addition to my clinical training, I bring over 20 years of personal recovery experience, which informs my compassion, humility, and belief in each person’s capacity for growth and healing. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, grieving a loss, or simply ready for something to shift, therapy can be a supportive place to begin.
